At the Church of Christ at East Side, the Singles Ministry exists to encourage single adults to live faithfully, grow in the knowledge of God, and walk in obedience to Christ. Through biblical teaching, fellowship, and shared life together, we seek to foster fellowship where faith is strengthened and lives are shaped by God’s Word.

WELCOME TO THE SINGLES MINISTRY
The Singles Ministry at the Church of Christ at East Side exists to encourage and equip single adults to live faithfully and purposefully in their devotion to Christ. Scripture teaches that those who are not married have a unique opportunity for focused service, spiritual growth, and discipleship, as they seek to please the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:32–35). Whether single, divorced, or widowed, individuals are welcomed into a Christ-centered fellowship committed to discipleship, encouragement, and faithful service within the body of believers.

Through biblical teaching and fellowship, the ministry equips believers to grow in faith, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and follow Jesus faithfully.

Through consistent opportunities for Bible study, discipleship, fellowship, and service, the ministry seeks to equip singles to grow in spiritual confidence, accountability, and faithful obedience to Christ, participating in God’s work through the body of believers.

LIVING OUT THE CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP
The call to discipleship extends beyond the local congregation. In obedience to God’s Word, the Singles Ministry seeks to participate in the work of making disciples wherever opportunities exist—locally, nationally, and beyond. As part of this calling, believers come together across congregations for worship, teaching, and encouragement, including participation in the National Christian Singles Seminar (NCSS).

NATIONAL CHRISTIAN SINGLES SEMINAR (NCSS)
The National Christian Singles Seminar (NCSS) is a Christ-centered gathering that brings together single Christians from across the country for worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and meaningful fellowship. For decades, NCSS has brought believers together to be encouraged, challenged, and strengthened in their walk with Christ while building relationships rooted in faith. In 2026, the Church of Christ at East Side is honored to serve as host for the 50th Anniversary of NCSS—a milestone gathering focused on spiritual growth, connection, and renewed commitment to living as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. |
