Winter storm 2021 - WAter damage
To the family of God at East Side, thank you for your love, prayers, faithfulness, support, and encouragement. As you know, we are faced with another challenge. Not only are we dealing with the COVID pandemic, now we are confronted with a severely damage worship facility. But we are not discouraged or dissuaded.
Nonetheless, we realize that we are faced with an uphill battle. The building received extensive damage (over a million dollars in damages). Consequently, the projected scope of work needed to repair and restore our worship facility is estimated to take eight to nine months before the restoration is completed. However, that is an estimation and not a definite timeframe.
In the meantime, we are planning an alternative means of bringing the church together for in person worship. We will not wait until our worship facility is repaired before we come back together as the body of Christ at East Side. We are currently working on an alternative, and within the next week or two (at the most) we will have the specifics of when, how, who, and where this will occur. Until then please be patient with us as we work through the details.
